Atukulu (Poha) Upma


Ingredients:
Atukulu/Poha - 2 cups
Onion - 1
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Green chillies - 2
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder
Peanuts - 1/2 cup
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves

Preparation:
1. Wash the poha in a vessel and drain the excess water by squeezing the poha with your hands.
2. Mix salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add Chana dal, Urad dal, Mustard seeds and cumin seeds and fry them for a minute.
4. Now add peanuts and fry them.
5. Add onions and curry leaves and fry till onions are done.
6. Add poha and cook for 5 minutes.
7. Adjust salt if needed and finally garnish with coriander and serve hot.
